I know you guys will most likely not read my comment, but the spinning magnets reminded me of a project I’ve always wanted to do but lacked knowledge, skills and materials for: Air Trecks. Air Trecks are (most commonly two-wheeled) inline skates that appear in the manga Air Gear. But unlike normal skates those ones are powered by powerful electric motors inside the wheels, and as they can measure the force put on them, I think they are controlled by how big the force difference between the front and rear wheel is, e.g. more weight on the front → go forward etc. (in the manga the Air Trecks’ motors are so powerful that the skaters can ride up walls and pretty much fly with them, but I don’t think that would be possible irl). It would be really really cool if you guys could someday make Air Trecks!
